Naples Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida's Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 31, 2011 – Arlene B. Carozza, corporate trainer, Downing-Frye Realty in Naples, has been installed as District 5 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state's largest professional association. Carozza will serve her fellow professionals in District 5, which encompasses Lee, Collier and Hendry counties. She is a member of the Naples Area Board of Realtors.

"With low interest rates and affordable housing available, sales activity should be strong this year in Southwest Florida," says Carozza, who is active in residential brokerage and corporate training.

A leader in regional, state and national real estate organizations, Carozza served as 2008 president of the Naples association, and founded its leadership development program. She has been a director of the state association and member of its Honor Society. She is a former board member of the National Association of Realtors® and member of several committees.

Locally, Carozza is a member of the Education Foundation of Collier County, Rotary Club, Literacy Council, Habitat for Humanity and other civic organizations.

As district vice president for the state association, Carozza will focus on enhancing Florida Realtors' services and support for real estate professionals. "Our members should take advantage of current market conditions to retool their professional knowledge and skills," she says.

Carozza adds that Realtors must continue to be leaders in their Florida communities. "The most important thing our members do is to give back to their local communities," she says.

Florida Realtors®, formerly known as the Florida Association of Realtors®, serves as the voice for real estate in Florida.
