Cocoa Beach Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida's Largest Professional Association
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 31, 2011 –
JoAnn P. Davis, broker/owner, JoAnn P. Davis Realty in Cocoa Beach, has been installed as District 2 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state's largest professional association. Davis will serve her fellow professionals in District 2, which encompasses Volusia and Brevard counties. She is a member of the Space Coast Association of Realtors.
"Buyers who have been considering purchasing property in Florida as primary homes, second homes or investments will be attracted by our relatively low prices," says Davis, a 33-year veteran who is active in residential brokerage and property management.
A leader in regional and state real estate organizations, Davis served as 1998 president of the Space Coast association, and has been active in a wide range of committees since 1995. She served as a director of the state association in 2005-2007, and is currently a member of the Professional Standards Forum, MLS Forum and Insurance subcommittee. In the community, Davis is president of the Cape Royal Office Condominium Association and director of the Indian River Women's Bowling Association.
As district vice president of the state association, Davis will focus on enhancing Florida Realtors' services and support for real estate professionals. "Education must be a priority for sales associates," she says. "The way we do business is continually changing, especially with new technology, growth of the Internet and increased social marketing."
Davis adds that Realtors must be leaders in their Florida communities. "We also must continue to be involved in neighborhood projects that help local residents improve their lifestyles," she says.
Florida Realtors®, formerly known as the Florida Association of Realtors®, serves as the voice for real estate in Florida.
