Gainesville Realtor® Serves as Secretary of Florida’s Largest Professional Association
"We want to deliver the right tools and services to help our members succeed in our state’s dynamic real estate business."
Looking ahead to 2020, Arvin expects low interest rates and strong demand to increase demand for Florida single-family homes and condominiums. “Our state attracts buyers from around the world, with a strong appeal to residents in high-tax states in the Northeast and California,” said Arvin, who is active in residential brokerage. “However, we need to increase our supply of affordable housing to support our state’s continuing economic growth.”
A leader in regional, state and national real estate associations, Arvin was 2011 president of the Gainesville/Alachua County Association of Realtors. She has served on numerous committees and been a director and District 1 vice president for the state association. She was also the 2017 Florida president of the Women’s Council of Realtors.
As secretary of the state association, Arvin will focus on providing Florida Realtors with professional information, education and advocacy programs to help them deliver the highest level of service to their clients and communities.
“Technology is a driver in our profession more than ever,” said Arvin, who noted recent member offerings like an interactive market statistics platform. “Our association is also a powerful advocate for homeownership and property rights,” she added. “Every day, our members strive to change the lives of Floridians for the better.”
