Apopka Realtor® to Serve As Treasurer of Florida’s Largest Professional Association
"We want to help our members find success in the real estate business by becoming trusted advisors to their customers."
Looking ahead to the 2020 real estate market, McGraw expects prices to rise for single-family homes, condominiums and commercial properties throughout the state. “It seems like everyone wants to live, work and play in Florida,” said McGraw, who is active in residential brokerage. “However, we definitely need to increase the supply of workforce housing to keep up with our booming economy.”
Water quality is one of Florida’s most pressing statewide issues, according to McGraw. “Realtors can help address these problems on a local, regional and statewide basis, by collaborating with community groups, government agencies, nonprofits, and business organizations,” he said.
A leader in regional, state and national real estate associations, McGraw was 2011 president of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association and 2018 president-elect of MFR-MLS. He has served as chair or vice-chair of seven Florida Realtors committees and forums and was District 12 vice president in 2012. He has also been a director of the National Association of Realtors and served as a major investor liaison.
As treasurer of the state association, McGraw will focus on providing Florida Realtors with professional information, education and advocacy programs to help them deliver the highest level of service to their clients and communities. “Our members enjoy building relationships that help individuals, couples and families achieve the American dream of homeownership,” he said. “We also serve as the voice for our neighborhoods, communities and the great state of Florida.”
