Ocala Realtor® Is Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sherri L. Meadows, broker-owner, Meadows Realty Inc. in Ocala, is the 2012 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional association with more than 115,000 members.

“In 2012, there will be strong opportunities in the global market,” says Meadows, who is active in residential brokerage and residential sales, as well as land and farm sales. “Florida will continue to be highly attractive to international buyers, offering great values in an ideal location.”

A leader in regional, state and national real estate associations, Meadows was 2002 president of the Ocala/Marion County Association of Realtors®. A member of the association since 1983, she has served on numerous committees and task forces.

On the state level, Meadows has been a director since 2003, serving on multiple committees and receiving the “Realtor Achievement Award” in 2007. She is a former state president of the Women’s Council of Realtors® (WCR). She is also a director of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) and a graduate of NAR’s Leadership Academy.

As vice president for the state association, Meadows will focus on Florida Realtors® services, support and advocacy efforts for real estate professionals. “Our members need to be leaders on the legislative level,” she says. “We must work to stimulate Florida’s housing market and create new jobs since that is the key to a prosperous future.”
