Navarre Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., January 2010 – Michael B. Simpson, sales associate, Coldwell Banker United in Navarre, has been installed as District 9 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Navarre Area Board of Realtors, Simpson will serve his fellow professionals in District 9, which encompasses Bay, Walton, Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties.

“With low home prices, stable interest rates and the extension of the federal tax credit for buyers, we expect strong sales activity this year in our district’s real estate market,” says Simpson, who is active in residential brokerage.

A leader in regional and state real estate organizations, Simpson served as 2009 president of the Navarre Area Board of Realtors and was named its 2008 Realtor of the Year. He is a 2006 graduate of the board’s leadership group and served as 2007 chairman of the weekly tour initiative and as a member of the professional development group. On the state level, he has participated in the information exchange with local board presidents.

In the community, Simpson is a member of the Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce, the Navarre Youth Sports Association, YMCA and the high school advisory council.

As district vice president of the state association, Simpson’s priorities include professional development and enhancing awareness of the benefits offered by Florida Realtors®. “Our association has an extensive array of tools to help real estate professionals build their businesses, while assisting homebuyers and sellers in achieving their personal dreams,” he says.
