Gainesville Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida's Largest Professional Association
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 31, 2011 –
Craig McCall, sales associate, Prudential Trend Realty in Gainesville, has been installed as District 1 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state's largest professional association. McCall will serve his fellow professionals in District 1, which encompasses Flagler, Putnam, Alachua, St. Johns, Clay, Bradford, Union, Baker, Hamilton, Suwannee, Columbia, Duval and Nassau counties. He is a member of the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors.
"I think the new construction market will be leading the way out of the downturn," says McCall, who is active in residential brokerage and new construction. "I also expect international investors to return to our markets, and think the mid- to upper price ranges will see an increase in sales."
A leader in regional, state and national real estate organizations, McCall was 2009 president of the Gainesville association. He has also served as a director of the state association in 2008-2009, and was moderator of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) Local Presidents Roundtable in 2008-2010.
A member of the Public Leadership Institute Advisory Board, McCall also is also in the Business Community Coalition and other local organizations.
As district vice president for the state association, McCall will focus on enhancing Florida Realtors' services and support for real estate professionals. "Our members should take advantage of current market conditions to retool their professional knowledge and skills," he says.
McCall adds that Realtors must continue to be leaders in their Florida communities. "Our members are making a difference every day through charitable giving, advocacy programs and helping families achieve their dreams," he says.
