Marco Island Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., January 2009 – Gerald Rosenblum, real estate agent, Prudential Florida Realty in Marco Island, has been installed as District 5 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors, Rosenblum will serve his fellow professionals in District 5, which encompasses Lee, Collier and Hendry counties.

Active in residential sales, Rosenblum served on his local association’s Board of Directors in 2008 and as chairman of the Nominating Committee last year. He was president of the Marco Island association in 2007, and has served in numerous other capacities over the years, including as vice president in 2005 and treasurer in 2003. In 2008, he was honored as Realtor of the Year by his local association.

On the state level, Rosenblum has been a member of many FAR committees, including working with FAR’s Resort and Second Home Specialists Forum since 2006.

He also is involved with the Marco Island Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Marco Island YMCA, the Marco Island Moose lodge and is a past member of the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce.

As a FAR district vice president, Rosenblum would like to expand on relationships that are currently forming between leaders of local associations within District 5.

“I see that the technological evolution of our industry will require us to work as a more cohesive unit to truly benefit all of our members,” he says. “I simply want the leadership teams of District 5 to know that I am willing to help in any way, if asked.”
