Ormond Beach Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., January 2009 – David Wyant, broker/owner, Wyant Realty in Ormond Beach, has been installed as District 2 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors, Wyant will serve his fellow professionals in District 2, which encompasses Volusia and Brevard counties.

Active in residential brokerage, Wyant is a former president of his local association and was treasurer in 2006 and 2008. He has served on numerous committees since 2000 and was named the association’s 2006 Realtor of the Year. He has served as a FAR director and, on the national level, is a faculty member for the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) CIPS International Program.

In his community, Wyant is a member of his local chamber of commerce, president of the Lions Club International Local Chapter, the Ormond Beach Yacht Club Restoration and the Daytona Beach Women’s Council of Realtors. He is a licensed Florida real estate instructor and licensed Florida insurance adjuster.

As FAR district vice president, Wyant will serve as an educator, spokesperson and advisor to fellow Realtors in District 2. “I have seen the dramatic difference that can be made by the active involvement of an effective leader. I am proud to be a Realtor,” he says.
