Kissimmee Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., January 2009 – Hope Andrews, Realtor and owner, Prudential Sapphire Realty in Kissimmee, has been installed as District 12 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Osceola County Association of Realtors and the Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors, Andrews will serve her fellow professionals in District 12, which encompasses Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties.

Andrews’ company handles residential and commercial properties, property management, auctioning and foreclosures. For the Osceola County Association of Realtors, she has worked with every committee the local association has from 2002 through 2008. In 2006 and 2008, Andrews was named Realtor of the Year by the Osceola County organization. On the state level, she has been actively involved in FAR committees from 2004 to 2008; and in 2008, she graduated from the inaugural class of the FAR Leadership Academy and applied for the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) Leadership Academy.

Andrews volunteers her time and talents with numerous community charities and professional organizations, including Angling Against Cancer, the Make a Wish Foundation, Osceola County Children's Home, Boy Scouts of America, Habitat For Humanity, both the Kissimmee and St. Cloud chambers of commerce, Help Now Osceola and Community Vision.

“Our job is to help educate Realtors on how to find opportunities in this market,” Andrews says. “In District 12, I would like to see the three associations in our district work together and be a unified district, meaning sponsoring more joint events. A good leader needs to listen to the needs of others, build consensus with their associations and to help fellow Realtors. It is not about me. It is about ‘we,’ the Realtor family.”
