Deltona Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., January 2010 – Jean Armstrong, broker/owner, Century 21 Armstrong Team Realty in Deltona, has been installed as District 2 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional association. A member of the West Volusia Association of Realtors, Armstrong will serve her fellow professionals in District 2, which encompasses Volusia and Brevard counties.

“With low home prices, stable interest rates and the extension of the federal tax credit for buyers, we expect strong sales activity this year in our district’s real estate market,” says Armstrong, who is active in residential brokerage and property management.

A leader in regional and state real estate organizations, Armstrong was an Honor Society recipient in 2008 and served as 2009 president of the West Volusia Association of Realtors. She was treasurer in 2007, director in 2005-2006, and a member of numerous committees.  She was also 2005 president and 2008 treasurer of the West Volusia Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR). On the state level, she was a 2008-2009 director and a 2005 director of WCR.

In the community, Armstrong is a member of Deltona Leads Group, the Deltona Chamber of Commerce and a participant in the City of Deltona Housing & Community Development program. She participates annually in the area’s “Relay for Life” fundraiser as a survivor.

As district vice president of the state association, Armstrong plans to focus on enhancing communications and involvement, while building awareness of the benefits offered by Florida Realtors®. “Our association has an extensive array of tools to help real estate professionals build their businesses, while helping homebuyers and sellers achieve their personal dreams,” she says.
