Boca Raton Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., January 2010 – Robert N. Goldstein, president, Hospitality Consultants Realty Services Inc. in Boca Raton, has been installed as District 3 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches, Goldstein will serve his fellow professionals in District 3, which encompasses Martin, Okeechobee, Glades, Palm Beach, Indian River and St. Lucie counties.

With low home prices, stable interest rates and the extension of the federal tax credit for buyers, we expect strong sales activity in our district’s residential market,” says Goldstein, a 30-year real estate veteran who is active in commercial brokerage, property management, consulting, and real estate and legal advisory services. “However, it will be a challenging year in the commercial sector.”

A leader in regional, state and national real estate organizations, Goldstein was chairman/ president of the Palm Beaches association in 2005-2006, vice president in 2003-2004, treasurer in 2001-2003 and chair of the Nominating Committee in 2001 and 2006. He is a director of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Palm Beach County (formerly Realtors Commercial Society) and was president in 1998-99. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), belonging to the Southeast Florida CCIM chapter.

On the state level, Goldstein has also served as a director since 1997 and as a member of the Commercial Alliance since 2001, serving as alliance chair in 2004. Goldstein served as a director for the National Association of Realtors (NAR) in 2003-2008, and has been a member of the Commercial Alliance Council since 2004, serving as 2010 vice chair for NAR’s Commercial, Legislative & Regulatory Committee. Goldstein has been an instructor and moderator for commercial real estate classes. He is vice chair of Boca Grove Golf & Tennis Club’s finance committee, an ice hockey coach, co-founder and vice president of the Florida Panthers Alumni Association, and a director of SAHOF, the USA hockey affiliate in Florida.

As district vice president, Goldstein’s priorities include education, training and political involvement. “Becoming involved in local, state and national issues has never been more important,” he says. “We must continue to coordinate our resources to make a positive difference in neighborhoods and communities throughout the state.”
