ORLANDO, Fla., January 2007 – Pete Craft, broker-owner, ERA/Breese, Craft, and Hensley, LLC, with offices in Mount Dora, Palm Beach, Altamonte Springs and Winter Park, has been installed as District 7 Vice President of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Greater Lake County Association of Realtors® and other area associations, Craft will serve his fellow professionals in District 7, which encompasses Lake, Sumter, Hernando, Marion and Citrus counties.

“Our biggest market challenge today is affordability,” he says. “It’s also vital for consumers to understand the dynamics of buying and selling in our changing real estate marketplace.”

Active in residential brokerage, Craft served as 2004 president of the Lake County association and is a director of the Mid-Florida Regional MLS (Multiple Listing Service). He has been a FAR director since 2004.

Craft brings extensive industry experience to his role as FAR district vice president. Our associates need continuing education on topics like time management and marketing in order to be successful in serving their clients,” he says.

As a FAR vice president, Craft will focus on Realtor® education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors® seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.
