Miramar Realtor® Elected District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, FL — Israel V. Ameijeiras, broker-owner, LMG Realty Inc. in Miramar, has been elected District 4 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches, Ameijeiras will serve his fellow professionals in District 4, which encompasses Miami-Dade County and the Florida Keys.

“Affordable housing is clearly our biggest challenge in Miami-Dade and the Keys,” says Ameijeiras. “We need to find a way to provide affordable, attractive and secure housing for our workforce.”

Active in residential and commercial brokerage, Ameijeiras was 2004 president of the Residential Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches and was honored with the 2003 “Realtor® of the Year” award. A FAR director since 1999, he was also a director of the National Association of Realtors® in 2003. Ameijeiras was active with Boy Scouts of America for nine years and is special event coordinator for his church.

Ameijeiras brings extensive management experience to his role as FAR district vice president. “I strongly believe that real estate still requires that personal touch,” he says.

As a FAR vice president, Ameijeiras will focus on Realtor® education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors® seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.
