Jupiter Realtor® Elected District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, FL — Nancy Cardone, broker-salesperson, Illustrated Properties Real Estate in Jupiter, has been elected District 3 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Association of Realtors®, Cardone will serve her fellow professionals in District 3, which encompasses Martin, Okeechobee, Glades, Palm Beach, Indian River and St. Lucie counties.

Affordability of homes is a key challenge in our region,” she says. “We have seen a tremendous increase in house prices without any significant wage increases, a situation that makes ownership difficult for many working families.”

As her firm’s executive director of their new homes and communities division, Cardone works closely with builder and developer clients in selling new communities. She is a former president of the Palm Beach County Council of Realtors®, an appointed member of the Palm Beach County Zoning Board of Adjustments, chairman of the Jupiter-Tequesta-Juno Beach Chamber of Commerce and a member of the President’s Community Council for Florida Atlantic University’s MacArthur Campus.

Cardone brings extensive management experience to her role as FAR district vice president. “My inspiration has been my parents, who raised six girls to become ladies who excel in their professional fields, while staying active with social, church and civic activities,” she says.

As a FAR vice president, Cardone will focus on Realtor® education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors® seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.

The Florida Association of Realtors®, the voice for real estate in Florida, provides programs, services, ongoing education, research and legislative representation to its more than 155,000 members in 68 local boards/associations throughout the state.
