Stuart Realtor® Is President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association
ORLANDO, Fla., February 2017 – Maria S. Wells, broker-owner with Lifestyle Realty Group in Stuart, is the 2017 president of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional association with 165,000 members.
“Demand for homes in the Sunshine State will continue to be strong this year,” says Wells, who is active in residential brokerage.

A leader in regional, state and national real estate organizations, Wells has served as president of the Realtors® Association of St. Lucie and the Realtor® Association of Martin County. She currently is a member of the Realtors® Association of the Palm Beaches, which is her primary board. In addition, she is a member of the Realtor® Association of Martin County, Miami Association of Realtors® and The Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors® Association in Pennsylvania. She has been secretary, treasurer, vice president and district vice president of Florida Realtors, as well as serving on numerous boards, forums and committees. She is also a director of the National Association of Realtors®, serving on several committees and as chair of NAR’s Insurance Committee and Research Committee.
In the community, Wells has been a member of the Martin County Orchid Society, Leadership Martin County Planning Committee, and organized fundraisers for the Alzheimer’s Association and Library Foundation Pearls of Wisdom Ball.
As president of the state association, Wells will focus on enhancing Florida Realtors’ services, support and advocacy programs for real estate professionals. “By educating and engaging our members, we will help
them improve their businesses and deliver personalized service to their customers,” she says. “We also help the public understand the importance of engaging a Realtor® as a trusted, ethical advisor when buying or selling a home in our great state.”
