Are you a high-tech or high-touch kind of Realtor? If you really want to optimize your potential, you need to be both, according to a survey released at the National Association of Realtors® convention in November.
High-tech, high-touch: A winning combo
According to a survey released at the National Association of Realtors® convention in November 2007, 84 percent of recent buyers used the Internet when searching for homes, up from 80 percent last year.
The profile also showed that 82 percent of homebuyers who used the Internet to search for a home completed the purchase using a real estate associate.
“Our members understand that the most effective path to today’s buyers and sellers is often through their modem,” says 2007 NAR President Pat V. Combs.
To make the most of the Web, REALTOR.com has launched a blog tool, http://talk.realtor.com, to help people share information about local real estate markets.
