Fort Lauderdale Realtor® Is President-Elect of Florida’s Largest Professional Association
ORLANDO, Fla., February 2017 – Christine Hansen, broker-owner with Century 21 Hansen Realty in Fort Lauderdale, is the 2017 president-elect of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional association with 165,000 members.
“Our state’s high quality of life and strong economy will continue to attract buyers from throughout the United States and around the world,” says Hansen, who specializes in residential brokerage.

A leader in regional, state and national real estate associations, Hansen has been active with Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors® for more than two decades, serving on numerous committees and task forces. She has been a director of Florida Realtors and chaired or served on a variety of state committees. Hansen also has been a director of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), participating in its strategic planning committee and other committees.
Hansen has been involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations, including fundraising efforts to help a Realtor® who was injured in the 2012 bombing at the Boston Marathon. In her community, she supports Easter Seals, Challenge Air, Silent Angels and Paws for Patriots, among other causes.
As president-elect for the state association, Hansen will focus on enhancing Florida Realtors’ services, support and advocacy programs for real estate professionals. “My goal is to cultivate inclusiveness and partnerships,” she says. “We want all Realtors, of all levels of experience, of all ages, of all backgrounds, representing all types of real estate practice, to unite to create a stronger profession, a stronger professional organization and a stronger marketplace.”
