Seminole Realtor® Installed as District Vice Presidentof Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4, 2008 – Alan N. Riley, broker-owner, RE/MAX Affiliates in Seminole, has been installed as District 6 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Pinellas Suncoast Association of Realtors®, Riley will serve his fellow professionals in District 6, which encompasses Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties.

 “The well-being of the Florida economy depends on a healthy climate for buyers and sellers,” he says. “However, rising insurance rates and high property taxes have locked many sellers in their current homes – and this situation must change.”

Active in residential brokerage, Riley is a former president of the Pinellas association. He has been a FAR director since 1995 and is also a director of the National Association of Realtors. He is a member of West Pinellas Little League, Suncoast Tiger Bay Club and Harbor Bluffs Homeowners Association.

Riley brings extensive industry experience to his role as FAR district vice president. “In a challenging market, Realtors need to focus on providing quality service and developing effective marketing plans. The good news is that we now have great technology tools that make these basic techniques much easier.”

As a FAR vice president, Riley will focus on Realtor education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.
